A growing manufacturing company is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join its accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to contribute to a company experiencing continued growth. Key Responsibilitie s- Process full-cycle Accounts Payable, including matching, coding, and entering approximately 100 invoices per wee k
- Assist with Accounts Receivable activities, including cash applications, account reconciliations, and research of payment discrepancie s
- Collaborate with purchasing and operations teams regarding inventory, vendor transactions, and product-related inquirie s
- Maintain open communication with customers regarding order status, invoicing, and account-related question s
- Support month-end close activities and ensure deadlines are met accurately and timel y
- Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigne d
- Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation in accordance with company policie s Qualificatio ns
- 0-2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, AP, AR, or accounting support experien ce
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferr ed
- Working knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable process es
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, spreadsheets, and data analys is
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting softwa re
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skil ls
