Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Generate and post customer invoices into the computer system Manage accounts receivable to ensure that payments are up to date and provide reports to Controller Interact with management, customers, suppliers and employees to resolve discrepancies in customer invoices Track and distribute daily cash receipts and disbursements reports Work in conjunction with the Controller to assure a timely month-end close Generate and distribute a variety of financial reports as neededEducation and Experience:
- High School diploma with 4 or more years of related experience and/or training
- General knowledge and understanding of accounting procedures in the manufacturing environment
- Must have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and other Microsoft software
- Experience in ERP systems (preferably Epicor)
Physical Demands:
Typical physical effort includes the ability to sit for extended periods of time at a computer station and while attending meetings Manual dexterity required to type and use general office equipment (phones, faxes, copier etc) Regularly required to sit or stand, walk around, bend and reachWork Environment:
- Work is in a standard office environment at a single assigned workstation.
- May occasionally attend to other workstations to interface with Purchasing, Sales and/ or work with Controller.
