The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Duties Process and record all incoming payments accurately and efficiently. Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable ledgers to ensure accuracy. Analyze customer accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Prepare and send out invoices and follow up on outstanding payments. Collaborate with the sales team to address customer inquiries regarding billing issues. Perform data entry tasks related to accounts receivable transactions. Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable. Utilize double entry bookkeeping principles to maintain accurate financial records. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns promptly. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Background in corporate accounting or financial services is preferred. Strong mathematical skills for accurate data analysis and reporting. Proficiency in data entry with a keen eye for detail. Familiarity with ICD-10 coding is a plus but not required. Experience in telemarketing or customer service can be beneficial for client interactions. Knowledge of technical accounting principles is advantageous.
