DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain assigned local supplier accounts, including matching approved purchase orders, delivery notes and invoices, processing invoices, credit notes and payments, and ensuring accounts are up to date. Review and verify inventory supplier invoices and credit notes uploaded from the Hospital Management System into Great Plains to ensure accuracy and completeness of all transactions. Ensure all inventory invoices are supported by approved purchase orders, delivery notes and other required documentation prior to processing. Reconcile supplier statements on a monthly basis and investigate, follow up and resolve any outstanding or reconciling items with suppliers and internal departments. Process and monitor payments for suppliers, maintenance-related expenses, utility providers and other approved vendors in a timely manner. Review, verify and process petty cash reimbursements, ensuring all claims are properly authorized and supported by relevant documentation. Prepare cheque payments, obtain the necessary approvals and signatures, and distribute cheques to the appropriate recipients. Verify and reconcile daily cash receipts, cheque deposits and point-of-sale (POS) transactions, investigating any discrepancies identified. Maintain accurate filing systems and accounting records for invoices, payments, reconciliations and other supporting documents in accordance with company procedures. Assist with month-end accounts payable activities, support audit requirements, and perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of Account Payables principles and practices. Knowledge of MS Great Plains Knowledge of office methods and familiarity with the uses of standard office equipment.

Ability to make rapid and accurate arithmetical calculations. Ability to communicate effectively, understand and carry out oral and written instructions of some complexity. Ability to work as part of a team. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and demonstrate excellent customer service. Ability to demonstrate integrity and maintain confidentiality. Ability to adapt quickly in a changing and multitasking environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
5 C.X.C. O' Levels passes including English and Mathematics Completion of CAT qualification or a minimum of ACCA Level 1 At least two (2) years working experience in Accounts Payables or general accounting.
OTHER:
Must be able to work a shift system, including Saturdays.
