This energetic position offers the opportunity to work with diverse accounting software and financial concepts, ensuring seamless bookkeeping operations. As a key contributor, you will support both operational efficiency and compliance, helping us uphold the highest standards of financial integrity. Whether managing accounts payable, reconciling bank statements, or preparing financial reports, your expertise will be essential to our growth and stability. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities including data entry, journal entries, and transaction coding using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms. Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger accounting to ensure accuracy across all financial records. Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently, ensuring timely payments and collections. Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to verify financial data integrity. Prepare detailed financial reports and assist with budgeting processes to support organizational planning. Maintain compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and governmental accounting standards where applicable. Support payroll processing, tax filings, and other technical accounting functions as needed to ensure regulatory adherence. Skills Proficiency in popular accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Quicken, and other financial tools. Strong understanding of core accounting principles such as double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and account reconciliation. Experience with general ledger accounting, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliation procedures. Knowledge of governmental accounting practices and non-profit accounting is a plus. Ability to perform high-volume data entry with 10 key typing skills for efficient account analysis. Familiarity with payroll processing and tax experience to ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate financial report writing and account management.
