Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support our finance team. The Accounting Specialist is responsible for providing accounting support to the Director of Finance by handling daily financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, account reconciliations, reporting, documentation; and period end closing processes. Essential attributes for this role are: accuracy with numbers, attention to detail, consistency, timeliness, and the ability to analyze, organize and utilize information from a variety of sources.
salary:
$28 - $29 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5
PMeducation:
AssociateResponsibilities Accurately enter and maintain financial data within the accounting system. Prepare, review, and organize accounting documents and records. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Verify invoices and ensure accuracy and proper documentation. Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies or documentation issues. Assist with month-end activities and ad-hoc accounting projects. Maintain strict confidentiality of financial and employee information. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls. Support continuous improvement of accounting processes and workflows. Serve as backup for interrelated administrative functions. Participate in training related to products, processes, procedures and organizational initiatives. Monitor, maintain, document and report compliance initiatives. Assist in the development, implementation, maintenance and management of administrative processes and procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment. Maintain complete security and confidentiality of all Company records and employee data.
