6+ Months Contract with extension Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented GL Accountant to manage general ledger activities, month-end close processes, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, experience with ERP systems, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries to the General Ledger. Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities. Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances. Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules. Assist with accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions. Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation. Ensure compliance with US GAAP and company accounting policies. Review and improve accounting processes and controls. Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Finance teams. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities. Generate ad hoc reports and management reports as required. Required Qualifications Bachelor''s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3+ years of General Ledger Accounting experience. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP). Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Workday. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications CPA or CPA candidate preferred. Experience in technology, manufacturing, or semiconductor industries. Knowledge of SOX compliance and internal controls. Experience with BlackLine or similar reconciliation tools.
