Job Description
Overview We are seeking an experienced, highly organized part or full time bookkeeper with proven experience in a law firm setting to handle day-to-day financial operations and accounting. This position requires strong judgment and discretion.
Core duties include:
Oversee billing systems and accounts; ensuring accurate data entry. Manage accounts receivable. Reconciliation and management of trust, client cost, and office expense accounts and ledgers. Track and manage key financial and operational deadlines. Track operational tasks, flag issues early, and ensure process efficiency Maintain organized digital and physical files. Serve as a professional point of contact for clients and vendors. Maintain strict confidentiality and professional standards at all times Required Qualifications 4+ years of Bookkeeping and administrative experience in a law firm setting Experience with legal billing systems Expertise with numbers and the ability to work accurately with data Experience with accounts receivable, reconciliation, trust accounting, and expense tracking Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and meet firm deadlines Strong organizational skills and ability to handle high volumes of financial and legal documents accurately Polished communication Expertise in various software, including Quickbooks and Excel.
