The Role We're looking for a part-time Bookkeeper who knows the restaurant business and takes pride in clean, accurate records. You'll work directly with ownership, not a corporate finance team, and have real visibility into how the business runs. If you want your work to matter, this is that job. What You'll Do Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Perform bank and credit card reconciliations Process and prepare payroll Track revenue, expenses, and vendor payments Assist with month-end close and financial reporting Support internal controls and basic compliance What We're Looking For Prior bookkeeping experience required Restaurant or bar experience strongly preferred QuickBooks proficiency required Payroll processing experience Works independently, meets deadlines without hand-holding Discreet and trustworthy with confidential financial information Schedule & Pay ~10-15 hours per week, flexible scheduling $23-$28/hour depending on experience Why Join Us Work directly with ownership, real impact, no bureaucracy A 25+ year Santa Monica institution with a long-tenured, tight-knit team Flexible hours that work around your schedule Your work is visible and valued
