1495035 Tekberry offers a $100 payment for referrals! Position Overview Tekberry is seeking a highly analytical Financial Analyst to support our client within Land, Buildings & Real Estate (LBRE). This role provides financial support to multiple departments by performing complex financial analyses, reconciling accounts, interpreting policies, and supporting process improvements to ensure sound financial operations. The ideal candidate is a quick learner with strong analytical capabilities, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. Responsibilities Provide financial support and consultation to assigned departments and stakeholders Interpret, implement, and ensure compliance with organizational financial policies and procedures Perform ad hoc analyses of large and complex datasets Reconcile multiple clearing accounts and investigate discrepancies Identify, analyze, and resolve complex financial issues and exceptions Participate in the development and implementation of new financial processes and controls Execute established internal control programs and support audit activities Research regulatory changes and recommend process improvements Develop recommendations based on business needs and financial analysis Prepare financial reports, presentations, and supporting documentation Support negotiations and financial discussions with external partners as needed Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field Minimum of 3 4 years of relevant financial analysis or accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including: Pivot tables

statements Advanced formulas and functions Data analysis techniques Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Experience working with financial systems and ability to quickly learn new technologies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Preferred Qualifications Previous experience supporting higher education, healthcare, or large institutional environments Experience with Stanford financial systems and policies strongly preferred Experience with service center accounting and multiple fund types Background in process improvement and internal controls Experience working with large datasets and financial reporting tools Work Environment & Physical Requirements 100% onsite role based in Redwood City Primarily desk-based work involving extensive computer use Frequent sitting, data analysis, meetings, and presentations Fast-paced environment requiring adaptability and attention to detail We need hard-working, reliable employees.
