Accounting Specialist (Bilingual English/Spanish Required)

AMM Staffing LLC is looking for a detail-oriented Bilingual Accounting Specialist to join our team! This role focuses on high-volume payroll, client invoicing, and financial recordkeeping in a fast-paced staffing environment. The Accounting Specialist will also be an integral part of the office team, helping cover other office tasks as needed, including filing documents. Process weekly payroll Review timesheets, sick time (PSL), and overtime compliance Manage accounts payable & receivable, vendor payments, and client collections Reconcile payroll reports, bank accounts, and general ledger entries Assist with month-end/year-end close and reporting Submit payroll reports to workers' compensation for accurate premium payments Support the office team with other administrative tasks, including filing documents Respond to employee and client questions regarding pay and invoices Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential for effective communication across diverse teams and external partners. 4+ years of accounting and payroll experience Proficiency in Excel and payroll/accounting software Knowledge of California labor laws & payroll compliance Strong mathematical skills combined with a good understanding of financial statements and budgeting processes.
