POSITION SUMMARY
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for the collection of payments on behalf of the company. You will work alongside the Accounts Receivable Manager and work closely with customers to ensure that payment deadlines are met. The ideal candidate will be result-driven, have strong communication skills and have an understanding of accounting principles.ABOUT US

We work closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and develop custom solutions that fit their specific requirements.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Compiling all needed support documents to send with invoice Responsibility for ensuring a high level of accuracy with all invoiced amounts Ensuring all amounts are invoiced timely Applying cash receipts to customer accounts daily Collection calls to customers in cases where the account is past due. Weekly summarization of collection issues and working with senior management to determine action plans for slow paying accounts. Keeping records of invoices, deposits, and all correspondence regarding paymentcollection. Research short and overpayments, misapplied funds, payment errors, and work closely with the customer service team to correct these errors.QUALIFICATIONS
Strong relationship skills A sense of urgency while maintaining accuracy High attention to detail and understanding how it affects the big picture Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks and advanced knowledge of MS Excel. 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related.
