Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant / Bookkeeper/ Office administrator to join our finance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your expertise will help support our organization's financial health, facilitate smooth bookkeeping processes, and contribute to the preparation of financial reports. Duties Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including data entry, journal entries, and account reconciliations using various accounting software such as QuickBooks Help with miscellaneous day to day Office Work (Organizing, counting inventory etc) Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger accounting to ensure accuracy of financial data Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently, ensuring timely payments and collections Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and other reports in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Conduct account analysis and general ledger reconciliation to verify the integrity of financial information Assist with payroll processing, tax filings, and governmental accounting requirements as needed Support budgeting activities and provide detailed account analysis to aid in financial decision-making Maintain meticulous records of journal entries, debits & credits, and account reconciliation documentation Requirements •Mandarin Chinese language preferred•0.5-1 years or more of Book Keeping Experience preferred or B.S. Accounting preferred. Previous office administration or clerical experience required.
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand for extended periods and comfortably lift up to 10 pounds (e.g., for inventory or filing tasks). Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks preferred. Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles including double entry bookkeeping and financial concepts Ability to perform balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and account analysis accurately Knowledge of technical accounting practices related to accounts payable/receivable, payroll, tax compliance, and general ledger management Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills Effective communication skills for preparing financial reports and collaborating with team members Able to lift 10-15 pounds and stand for some period of time.
