Accounting Clerk Infojini Inc - 3.7 Colorado Springs, CO Job Details Temporary | Contract $28.50 an hour 22 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Finance High school diploma or GED Accounting Full Job Description Essential Job Functions - Reconcile, analyze and manage accounting records including cash receipts, registry funds, and deposit funds, as well as subsidiary ledgers for allotments and other fiscal records Respond to general inquires, provide information regarding accounting information, status of accounts, payments, issues of checks and account balances Identify and reconcile routine discrepancies between records and accounting systems, compile supporting documentation, and create record of corrective action Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable duties to ensure accuracy and accountability of all monetary transactions handled by the court Ensure adherence to internal controls for disbursement, transfer, recording, and reporting of funds Reconciles cash, credit, and bank statements; prepares bank deposit slips, allocates funds to appropriate accounts, verifies deposits Reviews routine accounting transactions, documents, and financial calculations in order to ensure accuracy and compliance with fiscal rules, policies, and procedures Prepare financial documents and court checkbook; audit cash logs, bankruptcy filings, and proper application of payments Issue warrants; assess fees as appropriate; interpret judges' orders, verify documents for legal sufficiency; process legal documents according to judges' order, policies and procedures and state statutes Review and process cash and surety bond records according to rules set forth by state statutes; schedule bond return dates; identify case for Non-Resident Violators Compact, and validate non-compliance
Education:
Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade (high school diploma or GED).
Experience:
One year of full-time, professional experience in a related field.
Education and Experience Equivalency:
One year of relevant work experience may be substituted for one year of required education (OR) one year of relevant academic coursework beyond the minimum requirement may be substituted for one year of required professional experience.
Specialized Computer Equipment and Software:
Microsoft Office, specialized payroll software, and specialized accounting software. #
TeamR Pay:
$28.50 per hour
