Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant @ Holt Sheet Metal Durango, CO | Full-Time About Us Holt Sheet Metal is a long-standing local business in Durango, Colorado. We specialize in custom metal fabrication projects, big and small. About the Role We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this full-time role, you'll be the backbone of our financial record-keeping and day-to-day office operations, working closely with ownership and management to keep things running smoothly. Bookkeeping Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable and accounts receivable Reconcile bank and credit card statements on a monthly basis Process payroll and ensure timely tax filings Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review Manage vendor invoices and customer billing Administrative Responsibilities Fulfill incoming purchase orders and create shipping labels. Answer phones, manage correspondence, and handle scheduling Maintain organized filing systems (both digital and physical) Order and track office supplies Support management with general operational tasks as needed Provide friendly customer service to customers needing assistance What We're Looking For 2-5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a small business environment Proficiency in Sage 100 accounting software and Microsoft Office Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion Self-starter who can manage priorities with minimal supervision Familiarity with domestic and international shipping procedures Friendly, professional communication skills Nice to Have Associate's degree or coursework in accounting or business Experience with payroll processing Familiarity with fabrication or manufacturing industry What We Offer Competitive salary: depending on experience Health insurance / PTO / retirement benefits To Apply Send your resume and a brief note about your experience to rholt@holtsheetmetal.com.
