Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the firm's accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, and high-quality client bookkeeping services while maintaining strong client relationships. This role requires a solid understanding of accounting principles, proficiency with financial software, and exceptional attention to detail.   • Process and monitor incoming payments through various payment methods
  • Prepare and issue client invoices in accordance with contractual terms
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accurately recorded and properly posted
  • Follow up with clients regarding outstanding balances and overdue accounts
  • Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks and Practice CS
  • Assist with month-end close processes related to receivables and revenue recognition
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve billing discrepancies or issues
  • Respond to client inquiries professionally via phone or email, demonstrating excellent customer service and communication skills Requirements
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or a related financial role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including debits and credits, journal entries, double-entry bookkeeping, revenue cycles, and account reconciliation
  • Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar platforms; experience with financial management systems preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Professional demeanor with strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
