$50k – 55k A growing organization is seeking a detail‑oriented Accounting Specialist (Entry‑Level) to support daily accounting and finance operations. Why You'll Love This Opportunity Ideal role for someone starting their accounting career as an Accounting Specialist Gain hands‑on experience across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general bookkeeping Work in a collaborative environment that values accuracy, reliability, and learning Opportunity to expand responsibilities and develop professionally as an Accounting Specialist Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Specialist (Entry‑Level) As an Accounting Specialist , you will: Process and enter vendor invoices and accounting transactions into the system Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable, including recording invoices and payments Maintain accurate, well‑organized financial records and supporting documentation Assist with reconciling invoices, statements, and account balances Prepare bank deposits and complete occasional bank or post‑office runs as needed Provide general administrative and accounting support to the finance team Support day‑to‑day operations under the guidance of senior accounting staff Preferred Qualifications of the Accounting Specialist (Entry‑Level) High school diploma required; Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred Basic understanding of accounting principles, including AP and AR Strong attention to detail and organizational skills critical to success as an Accounting Specialist Trustworthy with the ability to handle confidential financial information Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Excel preferred) Willingness and ability to learn new accounting systems and software Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional bank deposits Strong communication and time‑management skills #
