In this vital role, you will support the accounting department by assisting the controller in managing financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring accuracy in all financial documentation. Your proactive approach and organizational skills will help streamline office operations, contribute to efficient bookkeeping, and enhance overall office management. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting expertise within a professional environment that values precision, customer service, and teamwork. Responsibilities Assist with data entry and maintenance of financial records using Epicor and other accounting software Process invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and promptly to the correct accounts. Responsible for receiving, processing, and verifying invoices related to accounts payable. Maintain vendor W-9 files. Track Use tax and ensure tax exemptions are received whenever applicable. Annual 1099 preparation. Review and post A/R daily Follow up with customers on outstanding/past due invoices Support accounting activities, including bank reconciliations and expense tracking Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for easy retrieval of financial documentso Assist Controller in Month end close and all Year End Audits Tracking Requests for Quotes and customer Purchase Orders. Closing manufacturing jobs. Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy. Perform other duties as required Assist with office management duties to promote a smooth workflow within the department Skills Proficiency in ERP, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Google Workspace tools Strong computer literacy with excellent typing speed and accuracy Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently Previous office experience including clerical or administrative roles preferred Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively Organized 2-year Accounting Degree and 2-4 years hands on experience Proficient in math, the ability to spot numerical errors, and the ability to trouble shoot problems Join us to be part of a vibrant team where your contributions directly impact our success!
