Job Description

Accounts Payable Specialist Launch your career with American Cruise Lines, the world's leader in small ship cruising! We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team. This position is based in our office located in the picturesque shoreline town of Guilford, CT where you will be working alongside a dedicated and loyal team. Responsibilities:
Efficiently and accurately verify and process a high volume of invoices. Review vendor statements and appropriately address any concerns. Accumulate appropriate information to setup and maintain vendor accounts. Assist with maintaining vendor remittance advice and mailing out payments. Professionally communicate with vendors regarding invoices, payment inquiries and account discrepancies. Follow internal controls related to accounting and accounts payable. Exceptional attention to detail while maintaining confidentiality. Work with both internal and external customers. Ability to multitask.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance. 1+ years' experience in accounts payable. Experience with Great Plains preferred. Experience with paperless requisition system preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office Programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong communications skills. Excellent analytical and organizational skills. Accuracy in daily work and other projects.
