Job Title:
Part-Time Bookkeeper (Food Service Industry) - Hartford, CT We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and independent Bookkeeper to join our team. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to build financial reports, and experience with inventory auditing.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts. Prepare detailed financial reports to support business decision-making. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Audit inventories across multiple locations to ensure accuracy and cost control. Accounts Payable and Receivables Visit business locations in Hartford, Stamford, and Oxford, CT as needed. Can office in Oxford, Hartford or Stamford Work independently while communicating key insights to management. Non-financial administrative duties
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting. Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field. Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze financial data. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience with accounting software Quickbooks (a plus). Background in food service or inventory auditing (preferred).
