Job Description

Our client in Windsor Locks, Connecticut is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist for a contract opportunity. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with strong billing, cash application, and collections experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to accuracy and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and post customer payments accurately and in a timely mannerReconcile accounts receivable balances and investigate discrepanciesManage invoicing, billing, and cash application activitiesMonitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balancesCommunicate with customers regarding payment status, account issues, and past-due invoicesSupport month-end close processes related to accounts receivableMaintain accurate records and documentation of transactionsCollaborate with internal teams to resolve billing and payment issues
