Job Description

Job Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Avon Park, Florida in a steady Monday through Friday schedule in a business casual environment. This position is ideal for someone who can manage daily accounting activities with accuracy, stay organized across multiple business entities, and keep financial records current and reliable. The role offers the opportunity to support a fast-paced operation while working closely with invoicing, reconciliations, payroll and purchasing documentation. Responsibilities Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data across all entities. Assist in process of payroll for 11 employees with employee tax reporting Enter financial and operational data into accounting systems with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including tracking outstanding balances and payment status. Reconcile bank accounts and other financial records regularly to support accurate reporting. Assist month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. Review and process vendor invoices to ensure proper documentation and financial tracking. Understanding of Quickbooks or other accounting management software to support accounting workflows and recordkeeping. Requirements Demonstrated experience performing full charge bookkeeping responsibilities in a detail-focused setting. Hands-on proficiency with accounting software and Excel for day-to-day accounting and financial record maintenance. Hands on knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Working knowledge of payroll processes. Experience completing bank deposits and account reconciliations with a high level of accuracy. Strong data entry skills and attention to detail in a fast-moving environment. Experience with preparing journal entries and handling month-end close activities. Previous experience in the property management, business management, banking or with banking-related accounting software is preferred. Relay financial information to and from accounting consultants and annual accounting auditors. Benefits $700 monthly Healthcare stipend Employer pension contribution Paid Holidays
