About Us Howard Leasing is a growing mid-size company committed to operational excellence. We're looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance team and help keep our financial records accurate and up to date. What You'll Do Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Process accounts payable and accounts receivable Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Track and categorize expenses and bank transactions Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments as needed Assist with Tax Payments to Federal, State, and Local agencies Setup and track wage garnishments and child support orders Assist with unemployment claim management What We're Looking For 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (debits, credits, GAAP) High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong communication and organizational skills Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience) Nice to Have Experience with PEO industry Familiarity with PayPlus Software What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Health/dental/vision benefits Paid time off and holidays How to Apply Submit your resume and a brief summary of your bookkeeping experience.
