Accounts Payable Specialist 5-Star Refrigeration Brooksville, Florida In-Office Position About Us 5-Star Refrigeration is a growing refrigeration and HVAC company dedicated to providing exceptional service and reliable solutions to our customers. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Brooksville, Florida. This is a full-time, in-office position. Position Summary The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and supporting the accounting team with day-to-day financial operations. Responsibilities Process and code vendor invoices accurately and efficiently. Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices. Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies. Maintain accurate accounts payable records and filing systems. Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and account inquiries. Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting. Monitor outstanding invoices and ensure timely payments. Support accounting and administrative functions as needed. Maintain confidentiality of financial information. Qualifications Previous accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounting experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel. Experience with accounting software is preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional accounting coursework is a plus. Benefits Competitive pay based on experience.
