Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
The AR Product Specialist works under the direction of the Product Manager to support strategic departmental and corporate objectives by coordinating and assisting with all phases of the product development lifecycle. This role requires strong knowledge of medical billing processes, accounts receivable workflows, and computerized medical billing/accounting applications. The ideal candidate will serve as a key resource in supporting product functionality, troubleshooting operational challenges, and ensuring successful communication between product development, Client Support, and Implementation teams. This position also plays an important role in facilitating the transfer of product knowledge through training, documentation, and collaboration with internal teams to support successful client outcomes. This role is local to Clearwater, FL.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support and coordinate activities throughout the product development lifecycle Collaborate with Product Management to align product initiatives with departmental and corporate goals Provide expertise in medical billing, accounts receivable processes, and healthcare financial workflows Assist with product testing, issue resolution, and workflow analysis Facilitate knowledge transfer and training for Client Support Representatives and Implementation staff Create and maintain product documentation, procedures, and training materials Work cross-functionally with internal teams to improve product functionality and client satisfaction Support implementations and ongoing product enhancements as needed
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Experience and Skills Required:
Experience in medical billing, accounts receivable, or healthcare revenue cycle management Knowledge of computerized medical billing/accounting systems Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience supporting software products or healthcare applications preferred Strong collaboration and customer service skills
Education Required:
4 year degree in the applicable healthcare related field is preferred. Relevant experience may be substituted on a year for year basis for a degree An advanced degree in the applicable discipline, business, or computer science is highly desirable
