Accounting Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support various accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with established standards. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a solid understanding of financial concepts, including GAAP and corporate accounting practices. Duties Maintain current accounts payable Prepare, process & maintain customer invoices Prepare weekly check runs Handle all vendor correspondence via phone or email. Work with vendors to resolve past due invoices & reconcile statements Assist with incoming calls, direct customers correctly Generate and collection of AR Report Process credit applications and credit requests for new customers and vendors Daily Bank Deposits Generate weekly reports for management Record and track of legal duties with NTO's, NOC's and permits Experience • Excellent data entry skills with a focus on accuracy. Ability to analyze financial data effectively and provide insights based on findings. Strong math skills and financial acumen to support various accounting functions.
