Accounts Payable Clerk

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our fast-paced automotive dealership team. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely vendor payments.

Key Responsibilities:

Review vendor invoices for proper approval and/or PO# and code expenses to the correct accounts Reconcile vendor invoices to statements and prepare batch payments (no later than the 10th of each month) Process check requests and ensure proper expense allocation Maintain and update vendor files, including W-9 documentation Track and maintain related schedules, including sublet, with detailed notes Perform monthly accruals as needed Assist with month-end closing duties Prepare and file annual 1099 forms

Qualifications:

Automotive dealership accounting experience required Working knowledge of accounts payable processes Familiarity with DealerTrack DMS is helpful Basic proficiency in Excel (including simple formulas) Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Professional attitude with strong integrity and work ethic Team player willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed High school diploma or equivalent
