Minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant work experiencein accounts payable or similar role. Understanding of basic accounting principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and large ERP software packages, Oracle preferred. Attention to detail U.S. Citizenship is required. Job Summary The Accounting Specialist II (Accounts Payable) role supports our finance team and is responsible for processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and ensuring timely payments. Responsibilities and Tasks Review and process invoices for accuracy and proper approvals. Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts. Prepare and execute check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers. Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies. Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records. Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues. Assist with month-end closing and provide support for audits. Travel and Physical Requirements Nominal travel may be required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, talk, and communicate, use hands/finger, feel, and reach with arms.
