Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll & Accounting Specialist to join our team at our premier country club. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing while supporting daily accounting functions to ensure accuracy and compliance. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and maintains an elevated level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Process bi-weekly payroll for all club employees, ensuring accuracy and timely submission Maintain employee payroll records, including wages, deductions, and benefits Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations Focusing on data entry for both payroll and accounting Collaborate with hiring managers on employee onboarding, terminations, and payroll changes Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications:
2+ years of payroll and/or accounting experience (hospitality experience preferred) Knowledge of payroll systems and accounting software Strong understanding of payroll laws and basic accounting principles High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) Employer Matching Employee meals and club privileges Professional development opportunities
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
