The University of North Georgia currently accepting applications for a Financial Aid Accounting Student Assistant. This Institutional Student Worker for the Financial Aid Office supports the financial operations related to student aid programs. This role provides hands-on experience in accounting, financial reporting, and compliance while assisting in the accurate processing and monitoring of financial aid funds. Assist in maintaining and reconciling financial aid accounts and records Support the processing, tracking, and disbursement of student financial aid funds. Review financial documents for accuracy and compliance with institutional and federal guidelines. Help prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and audit documentation. Collaborate with staff to ensure proper allocation of scholarships, grants, and loans. Perform data entry and maintain organized financial records. Assist with internal audits and compliance checks. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications. Ability to handle confidential information responsibly. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in the minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify asa student worker. Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
