Accounts Receivable Specialist Pasadena Yacht & Country Club - 3.9 Gulfport, FL Job Details Full-time $25 - $27 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Paid sick time Qualifications Customer communication Financial issue resolution Attention to detail Organizational skills ACH Collections account management Full Job Description Position Summary Pasadena Yacht & Country Club is seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing member billing, collections, and account reconciliation while delivering a high level of service consistent with a premier private club environment. Experience in a country club setting is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Prepare and process monthly member statements accurately and on schedule Post charges, payments, and adjustments to member accounts Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on past-due balances in a professional manner Reconcile member accounts and resolve billing discrepancies promptly Coordinate with other departments (Golf, Food & Beverage, Marina, etc.) to ensure accurate billing Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications Assist with credit card processing, ACH payments, and deposits Support month-end closing procedures and reporting Provide excellent customer service to members regarding billing inquiries Ensure compliance with club policies and accounting procedures Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of Accounts Receivable experience, preferably in a private club or hospitality environment Prior experience in a country club setting strongly preferred Experience with Jonas Club Software is highly desirable Strong understanding of accounting principles and AR processes Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Work Environment & Expectations Professional office environment within a private club setting Occasional interaction with members and department heads Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
