Job Description

Job DescriptionJob Description Must have prior club experience Position Summary The Club Accounting Clerk supports the day-to-day accounting operations of the club, with a primary focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable, and member billing. This role works closely with internal departments to ensure accurate financial records, timely processing, and a high level of service to members and vendors. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable (AP) Process vendor invoices, expense reports, and check runs Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation when applicable Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Maintain organized AP files and records Accounts Receivable (AR) Post member payments, lockbox deposits, and credit card transactions Apply payments accurately to member accounts Follow up on past-due balances and assist with collections as needed Reconcile AR subledger to the general ledger Billing Prepare and process monthly member statements and billing cycles Bill dues, assessments, food & beverage charges, events, and other club-related fees Review billing for accuracy and resolve member billing questions Assist with adjustments, credits, and refunds as approved General Accounting Support Assist with month-end close activities and reconciliations Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with club policies Support audits and provide documentation when requested Perform additional accounting or administrative duties as assigned
Pay Details:
