Full Charge Bookkeeper

Position Overview We are assisting a general contracting company seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations and support financial reporting needs in Jupiter, FL. This role is ideal for someone with construction industry experience who is comfortable managing the full accounting cycle using QuickBooks Desktop. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts receivable and accounts payable Prepare and maintain AR and AP aging reports Perform AP data entry and vendor payment processing Maintain job cost and backlog reporting Assist with certified payroll and related reporting requirements Manage subcontractor contracts, insurance certificates, and compliance submittals Prepare and post journal entries Support month-end and year-end close processes Assist with preparation and filing of 1099s Maintain accurate financial records and support management reporting Qualifications Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper, preferably in construction Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop is a must Understanding of construction accounting, job costing, and subcontractor management Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and meet deadlines All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
