The ideal candidate will support various accounting functions, including data entry, account reconciliation, and financial record management. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, proficiency with accounting software, and the ability to handle multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment. Experience with
GAAP, SOX
compliance, and payroll management is highly desirable. The Accounting Clerk will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of financial data and supporting the overall financial operations of the organization. Responsibilities Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records using various accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and Workday Reconcile accounts including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank statements Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end closing processes Support payroll processing using systems like ADP, Paychex, Kronos, Ceridian, and UltiPro Assist with account analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, and account reconciliation tasks Ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations in all accounting activities Manage accounts payable and receivable functions efficiently Support budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting activities as needed Conduct tax-related tasks and ensure proper documentation for governmental reporting requirements Maintain organized records of financial transactions and support internal auditsQualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality management is a plus. Previous experience in a hotel or customer service role is preferred but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle stressful situations with a calm and positive attitude. Proficient in using hotel management software and other computer applications. Excellent data entry skills (10 key typing) with high accuracy Ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment Excellent math skills and financial acumen to interpret complex data accurately This position offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic finance team dedicated to maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance in financial reporting.Pay:
