Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong technical accounting skills, and possess a passion for maintaining precise financial data. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to organizational efficiency, compliance, and financial integrity. Responsibilities Manage and maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation to ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Reconcile bank statements and perform account reconciliations for accounts payable and receivable to ensure accuracy of financial data. Handle payroll processing and related tax filings while ensuring compliance with governmental regulations. Conduct accounts payable and receivable activities efficiently while managing vendor payments and invoice processing. Support technical accounting functions such as double-entry bookkeeping, general ledger reconciliation, and account analysis to uphold financial integrity. Assist with bank reconciliations, 10-key typing tasks, and account reconciliation activities to maintain precise financial records. Experience Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles utilizing QuickBooks. Strong understanding of GAAP standards and fundamental accounting principles including debits & credits, journal entries, and double-entry bookkeeping. Demonstrated ability to perform bank reconciliations, account analysis, general ledger reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation accurately. Knowledge of payroll processing procedures along with tax experience related to employment taxes is preferred. Prior experience working in the contstruction field Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
