Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join a growing team in Plant City, Florida on a contract basis with the potential for a permanent position. This role is ideal for someone who can manage day-to-day accounting activities with accuracy, maintain organized financial records, and support multiple lines of business in a fast-paced environment. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with invoicing, reconciliations, purchase order tracking, and construction-related financial documentation.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain complete bookkeeping records by entering financial transactions accurately and keeping supporting documentation organized across multiple business areas.
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices each day, ensuring billing details are correct and aligned with contract terms and purchase order information.
  • Review contracts and related project documents to assemble accurate financial data for billing and recordkeeping purposes.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including processing incoming and outgoing payments in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and other financial records regularly to confirm accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Use QuickBooks to record transactions, track account activity, and generate information needed for routine accounting operations.
  • Support accounting processes connected to four distinct business lines while maintaining consistency and attention to detail across each one.
  • Work with construction management software as needed to track project-related financial information and assist with accounting workflows.
