This role is responsible for accurate and timely processing of invoices, vendor payments, reconciliations, documentation, and related accounting support. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to supporting accurate financial reporting and effective financial operations. Key Responsibilities Process accounts payable transactions, including invoices, expense reports, purchase orders, and payment documentation. Review invoices for accuracy, completeness, proper approvals, and supporting documentation. Reconcile vendor statements and assist in resolving discrepancies in a timely manner. Support weekly and monthly payment processes, including organizing invoices and preparing payment documentation. Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records to support internal controls, audits, and compliance requirements. Maintain vendor records and related documentation. Track recurring expenses, service agreements, and contractual obligations using spreadsheets and accounting systems. Support audit activities by providing documentation and responding to information requests. Assist with year-end tax reporting processes, including collecting vendor documentation and supporting required filings. Support process improvements and modernization initiatives within the accounts payable function. Assist with billing, receivables, or other accounting-related processes as needed. Assist with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close procedures. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of accounting or accounts payable experience. Experience in hospitality, property management, real estate, or a service-based environment is preferred. Proficiency with accounting software; experience with ERP systems is a plus. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to work in an office environment, with occasional visits to operational sites as needed.
