Competitive Salary Based on Experience + Bonus Opportunities About Palm Beach Trim Palm Beach Trim is a premier custom millwork and cabinetry manufacturer, supplier, and installer serving luxury custom homebuilders and estate homeowners throughout Palm Beach County. With a long-standing reputation for quality craftsmanship and exceptional service, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. Position Summary The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for overseeing and managing all day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the company. This individual must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while supporting management with accurate financial reporting and project cost tracking. The ideal candidate will have extensive construction accounting experience and be proficient in Sage CRE 300 (Timberline), Procore, Monday.com, and Microsoft Office applications. Primary ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Financial Management Manage all Accounts Receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, lien releases, and customer account maintenance. Process deposits and maintain accurate cash receipts records. Prepare and submit customer billings in accordance with contract requirements. Manage all Accounts Payable functions, including vendor invoices, payment processing, and vendor reconciliations. Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Coordinate with outside accountants regarding tax filings and year-end reporting. Construction Accounting & Job Costing Maintain accurate job costing records and project cost tracking. Monitor project budgets and report cost variances. Manage contract documentation, change orders, and related billing controls. Track subcontractor and vendor compliance documentation. Assist management with project financial reporting and profitability analysis. Payroll & Administrative Functions Process weekly payroll accurately and timely. Maintain employee payroll records and benefit deductions. Ensure compliance with payroll tax reporting requirements. Support management with various administrative and reporting functions as needed. QualificationsRequired Experience Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in the construction, millwork, cabinetry, or related industries. Strong understanding of construction accounting principles and job costing. Experience managing the full accounting cycle. Software Proficiency Sage CRE 300 (Timberline)
