This energetic role is vital in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in accounting principles, proficiency with various financial software, and a passion for automotive industry specifics. Your contributions will help streamline our financial processes, support budgeting and reporting efforts, and uphold the integrity of our financial data. Duties Perform data entry and maintain meticulous records of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger transactions using accounting software Reynolds and Reynolds. Reconcile balance sheets and perform account analysis to ensure accuracy across all financial statements. Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and double-entry bookkeeping practices aligned with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Conduct account reconciliation activities for accounts payable and receivable to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly. Experience Proven experience in corporate accounting environments within the automotive or related industries. Strong understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, and account analysis. Demonstrated ability to perform data entry with high accuracy (10 key typing skills) and execute detailed account reconciliation tasks efficiently. Excellent math skills combined with a solid grasp of general ledger accounting principles; prior experience in public accounting or non-profit sectors is advantageous.
