Back To Results Accounting Assistant Job Description Well Estabhlished company in Atlanta is in search of an Accounting Assistant that will report to the Accounting Manager.
Key duties and responsibilities:
  • Process weekly invoices into computer system.
  • Reconcile monthly vendor statements.
  • Process weekly, bi-monthly, and monthly checks to vendors ensuring all appropriate approvals have been received.
  • Scan all payments into file system.
  • Handle all correspondence between vendors and locations regarding payments.
  • Correspond with all locations regarding questions or concerns with invoices.
  • Follow all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
Education:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience:
Accounting training or related experience required, preferably with experience in the construction industry.
Knowledge:
