Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a Contract to potential hire basis in Atlanta, Georgia. This role combines accounting responsibilities with administrative support tasks, making it a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The position requires in-office attendance three days a week, with the potential for remote work one day per week after becoming established in the role.
Responsibilities:
  • Handle day-to-day accounting activities, including creating journal entries, processing deposits, and performing bank reconciliations across multiple accounts.
  • Coordinate monthly check runs, ensuring certified checks are mailed promptly and accurately.
  • Provide administrative support by preparing meeting materials, recording minutes, and organizing catering arrangements for events.
  • Develop engaging social media content using tools like Canva and draft posts to enhance online presence.
  • Maintain and organize office documents, binders, and other administrative materials to ensure accessibility.
  • Record journal entries for investment accounts and manage financial data in QuickBooks.
  • Collaborate with team members to facilitate efficient office operations and assist with miscellaneous tasks as needed.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office tools, such as Word and Excel, to input data and generate reports.
  • Participate in virtual meetings via Microsoft Teams, maintaining effective communication and workflow within the team.
