Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team. In this vital role, you will manage day-to-day financial record-keeping, ensuring accuracy and compliance across various accounting functions. Your expertise will support the organization's financial health by maintaining precise records, reconciling accounts, and preparing essential financial reports. Duties Maintain accurate and organized financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to ensure data integrity Prepare and process journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable transactions Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to verify account accuracy Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations and GAAP standards Assist with budgeting processes and provide support for financial report writing Support governmental accounting requirements and non-profit accounting procedures as needed Requirements Proven experience with accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or comparable systems Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and double-entry bookkeeping practices Knowledge of corporate accounting, non-profit accounting, and governmental accounting standards Ability to perform detailed account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and ledger management Familiarity with tax regulations related to payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in 10-key typing for efficient data entry Strong communication skills for clear financial report writing and documentation Join us as a Bookkeeper to play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization!
