Contract Overview:

We are partnering with a Cedar Rapids-based company seeking a reliable Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist to support day-to-day AP operations during a contract engagement. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail who enjoys hands-on invoice processing in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

+ Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner + Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts, resolving discrepancies as needed + Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments + Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries + Assist with account reconciliations and month-end support + Ensure AP processes follow internal controls and procedures

Requirements Qualifications:

+ 1+ years of accounts payable experience + Experience working in an ERP or accounting system (SAGE.) + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills + Ability to manage deadlines independently in a contract environment + Proficiency in Excel preferred
