Job DescriptionJob Description Cost Accounting Specialist Caldwell, ID $23-$30/hour + Profit Sharing About the Role CV Resources is partnering with a growing organization in the Caldwell area to identify a Cost Accounting Specialist. This role will support the accounting and operations teams by analyzing costs, maintaining accurate financial records, and helping drive better business decisions through data. Key Responsibilities Analyze product, labor, and operational costs to identify trends and variances Assist with standard costing, budgeting, and cost forecasting Perform account reconciliations and support month-end close Track inventory costs and assist with inventory reporting Prepare cost analysis reports for leadership Partner with operations to improve cost efficiency and processes Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP Qualifications 1-3+ years of accounting or cost accounting experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting/ERP systems Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail Ability to communicate financial data clearly to non-finance teams Nice to Have Experience in manufacturing, construction, or production environments Exposure to inventory accounting or standard costing Why This Opportunity?
