Job Description

Title of Position:
Commercial Accounting Specialist Our Mission:
To provide high-quality, plumbing and heating services that exceed our customers' expectations. We have registered our stamp of class by executing various prestigious projects in varied domains, such as Commercial, Industrial, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Educational, Municipal, and Residential venues across all of Southern Illinois.
EXPECTATIONS

Essential Functions:
. General responsibility for the commercial AP and AR department . Generate commercial pay applications for services rendered . Enter and code invoices received from vendors . Reconcile Monthly Vendor Statements . Receive commercial payments and post to correct invoices . Perform basic collection activities to prevent delinquent accounts . Communicate with vendors on account activity and inquiries . Maintain accurate customer and vendor records . Handle inquires and incoming work and purchase orders . Perform other tasks as assigned Characteristics & Abilities vital to this position: . Self-starter with strong work ethic . High level of integrity and maturity . Good listener with excellent verbal & written communication skills . Proficiency in accounting software, Excel, and Word . Accounting experience and working knowledge of accounts payables/receivables . Construction experience is preferred .
