About the Company We are a well-established U.S. logistics company with over 15 years of experience in freight transportation. Headquartered in Chicago, with offices in Oak Brook and terminals across Oregon, Washington, and California, we operate a fleet of 150 company-owned trucks with 53' Dry Van trailers. Position Overview We are looking for attentive to detail Accounting Assistant to help with weekly payroll for our growing team and other accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with payroll: Verify and calculate staff weekly payroll Generating bills and invoices in the Quickbooks accordingly preparing detail weekly pay states Resolving payments related issues or inquiries Take on additional accounting responsibilities as you grow within the role

Requirements:

At least 6 months of experience at the position related to Accounting/ Administration or similar roles; High attention to detail and accuracy; Ability and willingness to learn; Responsible, organized and able to meet deadlines; Basic knowledge of accounting principles or previous experience in logistics field would be a plus.

Pay:

From $900.00 per week
