Accounts Payable Assistant $20–$25/hour We are working with a Flooring Company based in Romeoville s that is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Assistant to join its accounting team. Why This Role Stands Out Direct interaction with leadership, including the Controller and Assistant Controller Opportunity to assist with implementation of automated AP systems Exposure to multiple aspects of accounting, including AP, reconciliations, and month-end support Team-oriented culture with cross-department collaboration Key Responsibilities Process invoices, including scanning, coding, and entry into accounts payable systems Support weekly payment runs and assist with disbursements across various platforms Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records Assist with monthly inventory reconciliations and variance analysis Identify and help resolve discrepancies or processing issues Support digitization and organization of accounting records and files Qualifications High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred 6 months – 1 year of accounts payable or general accounting experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments Adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment EB-1126397607
