Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join a growing industrial machinery manufacturing company in St. Charles, Illinois. This role is responsible for managing the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and supporting the accounting team with general financial operations. Key Responsibilities Process high-volume vendor invoices and ensure proper approvals and coding Match purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documentation Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies Maintain accurate vendor records and W-9 documentation Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive vendor relationships Assist with expense report processing and credit card reconciliations Support accounting team with additional administrative and accounting tasks as needed Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 2+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environment Experience working with ERP or accounting systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Excel Strong communication and problem-solving skills Benefits Competitive salary Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Stable and growing manufacturing environment Opportunity for growth within the accounting department
