Corporate Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing Industry Job Type Full-Time Location Corporate Office - Multi-Facility Long-Term Care Organization Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Corporate Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join our growing long-term care organization. This position is responsible for managing accounts payable functions for multiple skilled nursing and long-term care facilities, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, vendor payments, reconciliations, and financial recordkeeping. The ideal candidate will have prior healthcare or long-term care experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced multi-entity environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Process high-volume invoices accurately and timely for multiple facilities Review invoices for proper approvals, coding, and supporting documentation Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies Communicate with vendors regarding payment status, missing invoices, and account issues Maintain organized AP files and electronic records Assist with month-end closing activities and accruals Monitor aging reports and ensure timely payment of obligations Coordinate with facility administrators, department managers, and corporate finance staff Assist with audits, financial reporting requests, and compliance documentation Maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information Support additional accounting and finance projects as assigned Qualifications Minimum 2 years of Accounts Payable experience preferred Experience in healthcare, skilled nursing, or long-term care strongly preferred Multi-location or corporate AP experience preferred Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP processes Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/payroll software Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Preferred Qualifications Experience working with nursing home or healthcare vendors Familiarity with general ledger coding and multi-entity accounting Experience with ERP/accounting systems Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Benefits We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, which may include: Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays 401(k) Opportunities for advancement and professional growth Schedule Monday to
