Job Description

Description We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to support daily finance operations and help maintain accurate, organized records for the business in Warrenville, Illinois. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with numbers, managing detailed documentation, and keeping financial information current and reliable. The role will work closely with the accounting team to process transactions, prepare supporting reports, and contribute to smooth day-to-day administrative and accounting activities.
Responsibilities:
  • Record and review financial transactions in accounting systems, including payables, receivables, reimbursements, and other routine entries.
  • Maintain orderly financial files and supporting documentation to help ensure readiness for audits, reporting, and internal review.
  • Reconcile account activity and assist with verifying bank records to confirm the accuracy of posted transactions.
  • Prepare recurring financial summaries and provide support for budget tracking, expense reporting, and statement generation.
  • Process invoices and vouchers with close attention to coding, approvals, and payment details.
  • Provide clerical and administrative assistance to the finance function, including document preparation, filing, and correspondence related to accounting activities.
  • Partner with accountants and other team members to validate data, resolve discrepancies, and support timely financial close activities. Benefits

  • Experience supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice processing, or general accounting tasks.
  • Proficiency with an ERP system
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail when entering data, reviewing transactions, and maintaining documentation.
  • Ability to perform basic calculations, reconcile account information, and identify inconsistencies in financial records.
  • Effective communication skills for working with finance staff, vendors, and internal business partners.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet routine deadlines.
